Chaffee County Sheriff John Spezze is reporting today that members of the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office and the Buena Vista Police Department received information of an individual who was in possession of a large quantity of Fentanyl at his residence north of Buena Vista.
A search warrant was obtained and a search was executed on the residence. During the search officers recovered 65 grams of Fentayl, about 600 pills, along with numerous firearms, one of them being a reported stolen handgun.
50-year-old Christopher Foreman of Buena Vista was arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a deadly weapon, and theft. Also arrested was 23-year-old Savannah Lane of Buena Vista. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Both Foreman and Lane were booked into the Chaffee County Detention Center. Foreman is being held on a $10,000 cash bond and Lane on a $250 cash bond.
