Plans include rehabilitating sustainable sites and adding an ADA-accessible fishing pier. The campground was built in the 1960’s and is located 21 miles west of Salida. The improvements will be done using funds from the Great American Outdoors Act to improve visitor experience and access.
For maps and more information on the proposed improvements, go to fs.usda.gov. Comments should be received by November 30th.
