The man accused of murdering Remzi Nesfield and dumping his body in Cotopaxi was deemed incompetent yesterday.
District Judge Ramsey Lama said the case against 37-year-old Jeffery Brian Smith cannot move forward until he has been restored to competency.
Smith was allowed to plead not guilty by reason of insanity back in September.
Smith will be in court next on December 18, 2019.
