The Custer County Sheriff’s Office received notification from the Custer County School District administration that a report from parents whose student had told them that another student had heard that a Custer County Sheriff’s Office employee had provided alcohol to minors at a house party at the beginning of summer vacation.
The sheriff’s office reported this to the 11th Judicial District Attorney’s Office and requested that an out of county criminal investigator be assigned to investigate the allegation.
The investigator came to Custer County and interviewed the possible witnesses. The investigator reports that he found no collaborating information to substantiate criminal charges.
The Custer County Sheriff’s Office closed the complaint as unfounded.
