The Salida City Council has appointed Christy Doon as Interim City Administrator replacing Drew Nelson who resigned the first of August.
Council also named Doon as an alternate member of the Chaffee County Housing Authority Board of Directors.
In other business, the Salida City Council approved an ordinance increasing the compensation for the Mayor, council members and City Treasurer. The increases will amount to an additional $18,600 annually.
