The 403 Fire burning on the Park and Teller County line has grown to 1,500 acres and has 35% containment.
According to an update, the firefighters are focusing on strengthening containment lines. A helicopter was able to drop water on hot spots yesterday.
Mandatory evacuations were lifted on Sunday, leaving residents under pre-evacuation notice. Although evacuations were lifted, 22 structures remain threatened. Over 100 fire personnel are working on the fire.
