A strong weather system will move across the southern Rockies today and tomorrow, bringing heavy snow to the eastern San Juans, where up to 2 feet will be possible by Thursday evening.

Moderate snow accumulations of 5 to 7 inches are expected over the central mountains.

After a short break on Friday, another fast moving system will bring a quick burst of snow to the central mountains Friday night into early Saturday.     

Salida and Buena Vista will warm up to of 41.  A low of 19.
The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 37, a low of 15.
Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 27 with a low of 7.
