Colorado Parks and Wildlife is warning about the danger bears pose this time of year. They’re getting hungry for the Winter.   

CPW says bears actively look for food for 20 hours a day, eating up to 20,000 calories a day to fatten up for their winter hibernation. The best thing you can do is remove food sources from around your home with trash being number one.
