The Bureau of Land Management has confirmed a homicide investigation is underway after two bodies were found in the Phantom Canyon area outside Canon City.
The BLM said the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office are the agencies handling the investigation.
According to the BLM, the bodies were found July 16th.
