The 2022 Para Swimming World Series was held last week in Indianapolis to determine the 25 athletes that will represent the USA in the Para Swimming World Championships this June in Portugal.
Salida’s own Sophia Herzog made the team. Sophia will be competing in the 100 breaststroke and the 200 individual medley at the championships in Portugal. Sophia brought home silver in the 2016 Rio Summer Para Olympic Games and bronze in the Tokyo Para Olympics.
