Chaffee County Public Health is reporting 107 new Covid-19 cases in the last 7 days, 191 in the last 14 days, for a two week positivity rate of 4.39 percent.
Chaffee County Public Health is holding mass vaccination clinics specifically to administer the Moderna and Johnson and Johnson booster doses for those who are eligible.
The mass booster clinics will be next Tuesday and Wednesday, November 9th and 10th, at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds by appointment only.
The booster is free and you are encouraged to fill out the paperwork ahead of time.
Currently, the following populations are approved for the Moderna booster:
- 65 years of age and older and those 18 and over who live in long-term care settings, have underlying medical conditions, or live in high-risk settings.
