An incident at Salida High School last Thursday has raised concern among parents and community members.
The Salida School district released the following statement about the incident.
“On September 23, a student in crisis left the high school facility. Staff attended to the student’s needs until the situation was stable. Simultaneously the police responded and determined that extra layers of security were best until the circumstances were fully known. At no time was the student body in danger. At no time was a weapon involved. We will continue to err on the side of caution until we have all of the data necessary.”
