A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through tonight. Monsoon moisture will result in numerous showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

Burn scars such as Decker, Hayden Pass, Junkins and Spring will be especially susceptible, as well as areas which have received recent heavy rainfall. Mud and debris flows will be possible. Quick rises in creeks and streams will also be possible in steep terrain. 

Our temperatures will be cooler today.   

Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 75–an overnight low of 51.           

The San Luis Valley will see a high of 73, a low of 49.                        

Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 63 with a low of 41.
