Meet Juliet and Smokey! They are the Heart of the Rockies Radio Pets of the Week.
Juliet and Smokey are the last of the cats that we got in from an emergency situation in Salida last month (see our recent blog post to read more here). You can see them pictured here, wondering why they still haven’t been adopted. Staff is a little curious about this too, as this pair is by far some of the sweetest kitties! Juliet, a 9 year old female domestic shorthair mix, will win you over in the first few moments that you meet her, as she rolls onto her back to accept belly rubs.
Smokey isn’t quite as outgoing as his sister, but given a few days he’s sure to win your heart over too with his gentle demeanor. Smokey is a 2 year old male Domestic longhair mix who LOVES other cats. When he first met his foster mom’s cats, he rubbed his head against her male cat, Obi, and was extremely welcoming.
All adoptable animals receive the following services prior to adoption:
- Spay or Neuter
- Age-appropriate boosters
- De-wormer
- Vaccines
- Microchip
