The City of Salida is reporting their best sales tax month ever.
September was the highest sales tax collection month ever recorded by the city, bringing in over $810,000. That is an increase of 33 percent over September of last year, or some $200,000.
When you add in the shared county and marijuana taxes, the city collected almost $1.1 million.
