Fire restrictions in unincorporated Chaffee County and Bureau of Land Management lands in our area have been lifted.
The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release, “With the recent precipitation in the region, the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office is lifting fire restrictions for all unincorporated land in Chaffee County effective immediately. Although the fire danger has lowered the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office still urges the community to be cautious with the use of fires.
The Bureau of Land Management has also lifted all fire restrictions on their lands in eastern and southern Colorado.
