Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center will begin operating the Custer County Medical Center in Westcliffe on Monday.
HRRMC will provide services moving forward under the name Custer County Health Center.
HRRMC is increasing family medicine, specialty and ancillary services to the clinic. Family medicine physician Dr. G. Marcus Stephens has joined Custer County Health Clinic full time.
HRRMC will also provide rehabilitation, imaging, direct access lab testing and pharmacy delivery services to the Westcliffe facility.
