A man jumped from the Royal Gorge Bridge Monday.
Deputies from the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Royal Gorge Bridge just before noon Monday in reference to a male that had reportedly jumped from the bridge.
After reviewing security footage and talking with eyewitnesses, deputies confirmed that a man jumped from the bridge.
According to a press release from the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, human remains were located near the river.
The investigation is ongoing.
