A Red Flag Fire Warning is once again in effect for much of Southern Colorado today.
A combination of dry fuels, low relative humidity and windy conditions combine for high fire danger.
- Salida and Buena Vista will see a sunny, windy high of 75, a low of 39. Winds will be gusting to 35 mph out of the southwest.
- The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 71, a low of 37.
- Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 55, a low of 27.
Afternoon and evening thundershowers return to the area late Thursday through Saturday.
