The Colorado Department of Transportation is saying today that authorities made 8,315 DUI arrests last year during their “Heat is On” enforcement periods, an average of 48 per day.
Every year, the CDOT, the Colorado State Patrol and local law enforcement participate in the Heat is On initiative where more officers patrol the roads around the holidays.
There were 176 DUI deaths in 2019.

His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
