The Alliance is excited to announce that our 2026 Chocolate Lover’s Fantasy event will take place on
Thursday, April 16th, at the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort Pavilion. We will have a VIP reception
beginning at 5 pm with a champagne toast and a special bite. We are also bringing back our denim
fashion show with creations from some of our amazing local artists. The theme for this year’s event is
Denim Disco so there’s sure to be plenty of sparkle! Guests will enjoy amazing chocolate creations,
delicious appetizers, drinks, and live music plus plenty of opportunities to support The Alliance’s
work.
The Chocolate Lover’s Fantasy event is a critical source of funding for The Alliance. Proceeds from
the event directly benefit the Alliance’s programs empowering survivors of domestic violence and
sexual assault through education, social change, and services including 24/7 help line, emergency
safe housing, Support Group and Individual Counseling opportunities, restorative practices, youth
prevention educations, and more. Our denim theme is a nod to Denim Day which occurs each April
during Sexual Assualt Awareness Month and invites participants to practice solidarity and support
survivors by renewing their commitment to exposing harmful behaviors and attitudes surrounding
sexual violence.
In 2026, The Alliance continues to expand our services and help survivors to move beyond their
immediate needs and chart their own path toward breaking the cycle of violence and pursuing
healing and justice. Expanded services include supervised visitation and safe exchange for parents
and children impacted by domestic and sexual violence, restorative justice practices to heal harms
resulting from violence, and organizing service industry and outdoor recreation staff to recognize and
prevent sexual violence in the workplace.
