A third complaint has been filed against a Westcliffe chiropractor accused of unlawful sexual contact with his patients.
77-year-old Dr. Luis Marquez has been charged in Custer County District Court with three counts of unlawful sexual contact, each a Class 4 felony. His license was suspended after he was arrested in February.
According to the arrest affidavit, this is an ongoing case with multiple victims coming forward.
The newest complaint claims that a female patient has seen Marquez for hip pain in December. The victim told authorities that after having seen chiropractors off and on for the last 40 years, the visit with Marquez was “very different” compared to other such visits. During the visit, the conversation shifted to “having breast augmentation” and Marquez allegedly asking if he could touch her breast.
Marquez is set to appear in court May 10th.
