A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Thursday, Sep. 22. Heavy rain may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other flood-prone areas.
Rock and mudslides will be possible on highways and mountain roads.
Rain is expected to diminish through the overnight night hours of Thursday.
Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 67. Look for an overnight low of 51.
The San Luis Valley will see a high of 63, a low of 49.
Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 53 with a low of 39.

His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
