Scattered thunderstorms are again expected this afternoon and tonight, with the best coverage over and near the higher terrain.

The storms over the next two days will produce more gusty outflow winds and less rainfall.  This will lead to possible critical fire weather conditions, especially over the Divide.

For Friday and Saturday, slightly cooler temperatures and better coverage of showers can be expected.

Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 85 today, an overnight low of 51.

The San Luis Valley will see a high of 85, a low of 51.

Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 71, a low of 39.
