The National Weather Service is currently tracking a strong thunderstorm southwest of the Decker Burn Scar.
The significant weather advisory is for Southeastern Chaffee and Central Saguache Counties. The storm is moving east at 55 mph.
Thunderstorm is capable of producing half inch hail, lightning, and winds in excess of 40 mph.
Locations include Saguache, Bonanza, Poncha Pass, Poncha Springs, Salida, and Buena Vista.
