Governor Jared Polis appointed two people to fill vacancies on the 11th Judicial District Court yesterday.

Kaitlin Turner was appointed to fill the vacancy in Fremont County. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Judge Ramsey Lama. Previously, Turner was the interim District Attorney of the 11th District.

Polis also appointed Amanda Hunter to fill the vacancy in Park County. That vacancy was created by the retirement of Judge Stephen Groome.

Hunter is currently Custer County Judge, a position she has held since 2016.
