The Super Tuesday presidential primary is tomorrow. Do not mail your ballot. Voters can use any drop box voting center to cast their vote.
Coloradans can still register to vote and receive a ballot.
Ballots must be returned by 7pm on tomorrow, Election Day.
The U.S. Supreme Court has reversed the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to keep Donald J. Trump off the Super Tuesday ballot.
The move guarantees Coloradans’ votes for President Trump will be counted in Tuesday’s Super Tuesday primary.
The unanimous decision was posted on the Supreme Court website at 8 a.m. MST Monday.
Chaffee County Clerk Lori Mitchell said the decision does not impact preparations for the primary.
“Trump’s name is already on the ballot. I’m glad they made the decision. We are ready to move forward,” Mitchell said.
She said she knows the Supreme Court may have “cut it a little short,” but she and her judges are ready to go Tuesday.
