Another mostly sunny, mild day today.  Snow and colder tomorrow. 

Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 57, an overnight low of 31. 

The San Luis Valley will warm up to 53, a low of 27.     

Leadville and Fairplay will see a high of 39, a low of 17.

Light snow will fall over the Divide today and tonight then heavier snow will spread over southern Colorado tomorrow.  Up to 16 inches could fall over the San Juan’s, up to 8 inches is expected in the higher elevations of the Sawatch and Sangre de Cristo mountains. 

The lower elevations in and near the mountains will see a trace to up to 3 inches.  However, temperatures will warm above freezing which should result in sufficient melting to limit accumulations to grassy surfaces. 

Drier and warmer weather returns for the weekend with another storm system expected to bring snow to the mountains next week.
