A winter storm warning is in effect for our area from now until Monday night as a cold front will bring windy conditions and heavy snow to parts of the mountains to close out the weekend.
In the valleys, expect rain to begin to turn to snow this afternoon. Highs will reach up to 45, but will drop back below freezing and down to 5 by tonight.
For the mountains, expect up to 10 inches of new snow to fall with highs today expected to reach 37 before dropping down to -2 tonight.
