Sunny skies and high temps are expected for the next week as summer really takes hold in the Rockies. There will be some chances of thunderstorms through the afternoons, but usually only carrying a 10 to 20 percent chance of precipitation in our area.
For the valleys, look for a high of 90 today to round out the weekend before lows drop to 53 overnight.
In the mountains and high country, a high of 73 will drop to a low of 38 after sundown.
