Numerous thunderstorms are expected across the area this afternoon and evening and into next week. Flash flooding is a possibility.
The best chance for flash flooding will be tomorrow and Tuesday.
Salida and Buena Vista can expect a high of 87 today. Look for an overnight low of 51.
The San Luis Valley will see a high of 81, a low of 49.
Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 71 with a low of 39.

His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
