High Country Bank announced this week, Vice President of Mortgage Loans, Niki Stotler, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer/Salida Market President of the company.
This new position was created to assist with growth in our community and to bring a level of professionalism and familiarity that our community counts on. An experienced and exceptional business leader, Niki Stotler will work aside, Interim High Country Bank President, Michael Matthews.
Niki joined High Country Bank in 2001. She has held several leadership positions along the way, and in 2007 she was named Vice President of Mortgage Loans. In this role she has led her team of 25 mortgage specialists to become Chaffee County’s premier mortgage team. A graduate of University of Northern Iowa and the Colorado School of Banking (2016), Niki is active in our community and has held numerous positions on boards and committees throughout the years. She has held positions on everything from the Fibark Board of Directors to the Chamber of Commerce Board to the affiliate representative for the Realtors of Central Colorado.
Ms. Stotler shared, “Things feel exciting at the Bank. I see opportunities opening up for all of us that may not have existed before. Each one of us can lead and help drive cultural change within the Bank. It takes every single one of us to take High Country Bank from good to great.”
Along with fulfilling her duties as COO, Niki will also serve as High Country Bank’s Salida Market President. Lines of business reporting to Niki will include our Mortgage group, our Commercial Loan group, our Operations group, and our E-banking group. As our Salida Market President, Niki will continue to lead our long-standing commitment to Salida and Chaffee County through our corporate giving, community involvement and philanthropy.
