The U.S. Census continues, and census workers will begin knocking on doors of those who have not responded on August 11.

The Census says the Non-Response Follow-Up operation enables them to ensure that they achieve a 100 percent count.

Some people may be hesitant to answer the door for census takers during this time of COVID-19—the easiest way to avoid having a census taker visit your residence is to self-respond before August 11.

As a state, Colorado ranks 16th in the nation for self-response at 66 percent.
