[Update] Snow Squall Warning has been extended for Chaffee County, Lake County, northwestern Fremont County, and northwestern Saguache County through 8:45 pm.
At 7 pm, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from near Blue River to 8 miles southeast of Gunnison, moving southeast at 30 mph.
The snow squall could ring whiteout conditions. Zero visibility in snow and blowing snow. Wind gusts greater than 45 mph.
The National Weather Service says the snow squall conditions could be dangerous, life-threatening travel.
