Chaffee County Commissioners continued the special event permit application hearing for Live Nation’s Seven Peaks music festival yesterday. 

After hearing an afternoon of comments Commissioners voted to continue the hearing until June 30th at 9am.   

Those opposed to the permit cited traffic, trash, and overwhelmingly, noise.

In other business, commissioners voted to give funding for a public ice rink, and voted to approve a special event permit for Meet Me at the Creek.  

Chaffee County Commissioners will convene at the 1041 permit authority tomorrow to continue the public hearing for Nestle Waters/Blue Triton Brands request for a 10 year extension for the 1041 permit for a spring water facility in Johnson Village.
