A search for Suzanne Morphew, organized by her brother Andy Moorman of Indiana, begins today.
Morphew has been missing since May 10 when she failed to return from a Mother’s Day bike ride in the Maysville area.
Hundreds of people from all over the country have been signing up to help with the search on the website profilingevil.com. Over 50 people from Morphew’s home state of Indiana are coming to the mountains of central Colorado to help.
The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office is supporting the search by staffing a command post with personnel to assist search members. The Chaffee County Search and Rescue units will be on hand to assist with accountability and coordination issues. The Chaffee Count crime scene team will be available to document and collect any evidence found.
A candlelight vigil will take place tomorrow night at Riverside Park in downtown Salida beginning at 7 pm.
