Work on the Scout Wave in Salida’s downtown Whitewater Park continues.
Work in the river on tailwater, the wave structure, and the trail is about halfway complete.
Improvements have been made to the river left concrete wave structure, while tailwater and river left bank improvements are near completion.
The plan this week is to work on the river right concrete structure and trail work. The river corridor may become impassable at various phases of construction; river users are advised to read updates at river access points, use extreme caution and scout the project from the river right Coors boat ramp before the F Street Bridge.
