A winter storm system will be moving out of the northern mountains this morning leaving mostly cloudy skies in the high country while the valleys will see a sunny day with chilly temperatures.
Expect a high of 39 near Salida and Buena Vista today before lows drop down to 12 overnight.
Leadville and Fairplay can expect a daytime high of 24 before lows hit zero overnight.
