A man has pleaded guilty to killing five people in the San Luis Valley in 2020. 

29-year-old Adre Baroz nicknamed “Psycho,” pleaded guilty this week in an Alamosa courtroom to 13 charges, including five counts of first degree murder. 

Prosecutors said that Baroz committed the murders over a two-month period in 2020. 

31-year-old Korina Arroyo of Monte Vista, 19-year-old Selena Esquibel of Alamosa, 24-year-old Xavier Garcia of Saguache, 31-year-old Myron Martinez of Del Norte and 34-year-old Shayla Hammel of Alamosa were killed and dumped on property near the New Mexico border.

Baroz is accused of burning their bodies in a pit on remote land in a tiny community south of Alamosa. 

Sentencing is set for May 3rd.
