Because of the MLK holiday, the Salida City Council has rescheduled today’s work session to tomorrow.
The council’s work session will be held tomorrow beginning at 5 pm followed by a regular meeting at 6 pm.
During their work session, council will hear an update on Harriet Alexander Field from Airport Manager Zech Papp, and updates from Colorado Mountain College and the PROST Master Plan from Parks and Recreation Director Diesel Post.
During the regular meeting of the Salida City Council, council members will vote on a resolution approving the Confluent Park Minor Subdivision, offer a letter of support for the Colorado Housing Finance Authority for low income housing tax credits for units to be built in Confluent Park, and vote on an ordinance amending the municipal code raising the minimum age to purchase or consume tobacco to 21.
A public hearing will also be held regarding an appeal of a Historic Preservation Commission decision on a certificate of approval for the Manhattan Hotel in downtown Salida.
