The Salida City Council will hold a regular meeting tonight at 6:30 PM. The meeting will include a public hearing on the acceptance and rezoning of the Salida School District annexation under unfinished business.
In new business, council members are set to vote on a resolution for an intergovernmental agreement between the City of Salida and the Salida School District. Additionally, the council will meet in an executive session to receive legal advice concerning lawsuits from the Town of Poncha Springs, Tailwind Group, and Full Views Matter. The discussion will focus on next steps and negotiation parameters following an August 26th court-ordered mediation.
A work session will precede the regular meeting at 5 PM, where the council will review the proposed 2025 budget and recent Xcel Energy outages.
