Salida Bikefest begins its four day celebration of everything bikes today with women’s bike ride.
Meet at the Red Caboose in the F Street parking lot at 6:30 pm for the group ride.
Tomorrow a History Tour Bike Ride begins at 4 pm. Bring your cruiser bike for a mile ride and learn about the history of downtown Salida. The Soulride starts at 6 pm at Soulcraft Brewing on Highway 50 with live music and libations.
On Saturday, the Banana Belt Mountain Bike Race starts at 9 am on the F Street Bridge. This classic 26 mile course climbs up Bear Creek Road, across the Little Rainbow trail and returns to County Road 108.
Bike decorating begins at 9:30 am Saturday at Riverside Park.
Sunday is the popular Monarch Crest Crank benefiting The Alliance. The after party for the Crest Crank begins at 12 noon at Riverside Park.
