Salida Parks and Recreation is actively monitoring the Chaffee County Covid-19 rates to plan a phased reopening of the Salida Aquatic Center.   

The phased reopening of the aquatic center is contingent on the county staying in the level designated as “Safer at Home.” Once the Covid-19 numbers remain stable for a 14-day period, Salida Parks and Recreation staff will consider moving into the next level of reopening. This level will include opening the lobby for public use, opening the locker rooms for limited public use, opening he soaking pool for rent and reinstituting memberships and passes.

Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
