House District Representative Ron Hanks has filed paperwork to run for the U.S. Senate seat held by Michael Bennet.
Hanks, a Republican from Penrose, an outspoken 2020 election denier who attended the January 6 rally at the U.S. Capitol, was elected to the Colorado State House last November.
Hanks joins a crowded field. He is the sixth Republican to enter the GOP Primary.
