The Salida girls basketball team led nearly wire to wire against the James Irwin Jaguars, and were able to keep their start player in check the entire game as they earned win number two in a 36-23 affair on Saturday afternoon.
The boys would follow, and unfortunately for Salida, miscues and mistakes would keep them from taking a win against an athletic James Irwin boys team.
