The Buena Vista football team overcame a slow start on Friday night in Monte Vista to take the win 27-15 over the Pirates.
With the postseason around the corner, the Demons now are focusing their attention on the Meeker Cowboys, who they will face off with in the first round of the postseason on Saturday.
