Salida Fire and the South Arkansas Fire Protection District are once again offering the Ranch Hand controlled burn program. This initiative supports safe ditch clearing and slash pile management for local ranchers and property owners.
The Ranch Hand program works alongside residents, monitoring weather conditions and providing a dedicated fire crew to oversee controlled burns. This service is offered at no cost.
