The next opportunity for public input on Salida’s Future Land Use Map and Draft Installment #2 of the new Land Use Code will be Monday from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Salida SteamPlant.
This presentation-style meeting and discussion will cover results of the recent survey, proposed new zone districts, and zoning regulations such as dimensional standards and allowed land uses. Dimensional standards include regulations for minimum lot sizes, density requirements, setbacks, and building heights allowed in various zones, among other standards.
The Land Use Code consultant will lead a presentation of the proposed changes. The public will have an opportunity for questions at Monday’s meeting.
For those unable to attend the meeting, the draft documents will be made available on the City’s Community Development Department web page where feedback will also be accepted until March 15th.
