Ballots are starting to come into the Chaffee County Clerk’s Office for the June 30th Primary.
To date, 744 Democratic ballots have been returned, or 20 percent. 716 Republican ballots, or 17 percent and 749 Unaffiliated ballots or 13 percent have been turned in to the clerk’s office.
The Chaffee County Clerk’s Office remains closed to the public, but they have an information tent set up outside where staff can help you with voting, motor vehicle transactions, and recordings.
If you have not received your ballot you need to act today by calling 530-5604. Monday is the last day a ballot can be mailed to a voter. Beginning Tuesday, June 23rd, voter will have to visit the vote center to pick up a ballot.
A mobile, drive-through Voter Center will set up across the street from the courthouse in Thonhoff Park. Staff and election judges will assist voters beginning on Monday, June 22nd through Election Day, June 30th.
