The Poncha Springs Post Office is wanting to relocate.
A notice has been posted at the Poncha post office informing residents of their intent to relocate. The notice says that due to space constraints, the Postal Service must relocate to a yet-to-be-determined location within the zip code 81242. The desired size of the new facility needs to be approximately 2,500 square feet with adequate parking.
Services will continue at the current location until necessary preparations are completed at the new location.
Instead of a public meeting, the Postal Service is asking patrons to submit their comments in writing. A notice with the mailing address for comments is posted at the Poncha Springs Post Office.
